I recently decided to try some barnwood boards. This barnwood I got out at my parents' and from the old barns out there. One of the barns wasn't even put together with nails, but wooden pegs, it's so old. This authentic barnwood is one of a kind, and each stencil was specifically made for it's individual dimensions. They are a little more expensive than my regular boards, but that's because they aren't easily re-produced and so much time goes into individually designing each one. I was really happy with the finished products...

I Love love love this board. I was inspired by a stamp that you can buy and pull apart. That stamp had baby words on it, but I wanted one for married couples. This board is black with carmel vinyl. Kid Boards

Here are some pictures of recent boards I've done for kiddos. I love this size board for them, because it fits so nicely basically anywhere. I finally got a chance to do the little bird with branch for a girl. The board is a pale pink, with chocolate brown branch, and pink vinyl. 6 in tall X 18 in long. $18.00

I did this white board with pink vinyl for a baby shower. We didn't know the baby's name, but knew it was a girl. My girls helped pick out the saying. The font looked really fairytale-ish. This just shows how any favorite saying or quote can be added to a board. If you have a favorite, let me know, I can always add it to any size board. 6 in. X 18 in. $18.00

This little board was done for a baby whose room has a lodge theme. (another Colton, totally coincidental) I added bear tracks across the board. Light blue board, with chocolate brown vinyl. 6 in. tall X 18 in. long $18.00

I did this kiddo board a little larger than usual. Soft green board with cream giraffe spots, matched his crib bedding/nursery. This would also be super cute in traditional giraffe colors. The 8 in tall X 24 in long board is $25.00, but the 6 in X 18 in board is $18.00.

I Love this board! The "peacock" on the branch is definitely a fave of mine. Bright pink board with yellow vinyl... makes a statement, but would be great in a tween/teen bedroom! "A great flame..." quote is so inspiring. 6 in tall by 18 in long. $18.00

Anniversary/Wedding Boards

Here are some Anniversary and Wedding presents I have done in the last week. These are a great idea to add a personal touch to someone's special event. If you don't know someone's speicific date, you can always just add a nice quote or phrase at the bottom. I have also done these with family names, including all kids. I love this color combination. It works with any color decor. Carmel brown board with black background and cream overlay. It goes with blacks and browns, a definite no brainer if you don't know someone's exact colors in their home. The background font is distressed and has a print screen quality that is really popular right now. The typed font on top layer gives a simple contrast to the more ornate background. Definitely a favorite of mine (of course they all are in certain ways.)

White board with chocolate brown vinyl. I would categorize this board as less traditional, along with the saying at the bottom. As always, the boards can be a blank canvas to add anything you would like. This order added a funny saying at the bottom.

This chocolate brown board has a butterscotch background name, with first names and Emily Bronte quote on top layer in cream. I have also done this same look, but flipped. With the top layer really flourished and the background is typed. Really cute both ways.

New Board

Here I have a new design that I've been working on. I love the bird and branch... it's a white washed board with butterscotch and chocolate vinyl. Growth Charts

"Twinkle, Twinkle" chart is painted petal pink with black vinyl. Who doesn't love a party dress and mary janes?

"When I Grow Up" is painted ivory with navy blue vinyl. The primary color goes with almost any decor. "You Grow Girl" chart is painted petal pink with pink vinyl. Butterflies and lollipop flowers...

Ok, it is now settled, I have got to get myself a camera. The phone just isn't giving me the quality of photos I'm wanting. But, here are the growth charts I have done. They are 2 ft. wide by 4 ft. tall. They are made out of mdf, so they are light weight and can be attached to the wall/door. They are $29.95. I will add any kiddo's name(s) at no additional cost.
